I am Datis Khajeheian, a lecturer in media management and entrepreneurship in Aalborg University of Denmark, as well as an assistant professor in University of Tehran. At the same time, I periodically deliver lectures in Stuttgart Media University of Germany. My areas of research include media entrepreneurship, business models, media economics, emerging markets, innovation and digital technologies.
Also I serve as the leader of special interest group for study of emerging media markets in European Media Management Association. My main tasks are to supervise, lead and plan the researches and studies about opportunities for media firms in niche and emerging markets of developing economies.

My current project is to develop a theory of fostering media entrepreneurship. Two phases have accomplished. In the first phase (2013) I developed a framework for efficient media markets by extension of Strategic Acquisition theory. In the second phase (2015) I developed the theory of innovation market by extension of previous framework and two other theories. Currently, I am working on final theory development by study of DR as Danish Public Service Broadcast and how it may facilitate user innovations and develop media entrepreneurship to secure its creative and innovation market.
